Type it. Hear a native. Echo it back.

The hardest part of shadowing isn't the speaking — it's the material: the line you want to drill is stuck in some video, clipping tools fail you, and what you've collected is scattered across a dozen places. In Echobird you just type the sentence: native-speaker audio in seconds, organised into your practice library.

How it works

  1. 1

Type any sentence you want to practise.

  2. 2

Hear it from a native voice, instantly.

  3. 3

Echo it back — loop until it sticks.

Why I built this

I wanted to learn a language by shadowing. I had plenty of lines I wanted to practise — from dramas, podcasts, textbooks — but turning them into something I could drill meant fighting clipping tools, with material scattered across every app and folder. The practice never began; the prep killed it. So I built the tool I needed: type the sentence, hear it natively, start speaking.
